Dear Graduate Workers,
Please check your Illinois email for an important message about this week's bargaining session. We have very good reasons to believe that admin will move significantly closer to our demands as soon as possible including wages above 9% inflation and more fee waivers if you show up to our next bargaining session on Friday, March 24th from 10am to 5pm at the Illini Union Room C.

Vote for our ally and YDSA member Adeline Connor for Student Trustee in the Board Of Trustees
Following our Solidarity committee bylaws, the vote to endorse Adeline Connor for the student trustee position within the University of Illinois’s Board of Trustees (BOT) passed! She is a member of YDSA, who has heavily collaborated with and supported GEO in our efforts to win a fair contract. If elected as student trustee, Addy has agreed to discuss with us anything related to graduate employees and represent and vote in our best interest. Please vote for her here on Thursday, 3/23 and Friday, 3/24 and spread the word to help her to win!
Free Tax Workshop for Graduate Students
Join us Tuesday, March 28, 5:30-8:30pm to ask questions about how to file taxes! A local tax expert will be present, and there will be time to work on your taxes with other grads around for support. Taxes for international workers will get extra focus! The workshop will be in CIF room 2039, or check uiucgeo.org/calendar for a link to join online.
